Command palette & keyboard
Nereus has a global command palette for jumping straight to any project, asset group, asset, device, or dashboard without clicking through the navigation.
Opening it
Section titled “Opening it”| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| ⌘K (macOS) / Ctrl+K (Windows · Linux) | Toggle the command palette open or closed |
| Esc | Close the palette |
| ↑ / ↓ | Move between results |
| Enter | Open the highlighted result |
The shortcut works from every screen once you’re signed in. You can also open the palette from the search box in the header.
What it finds
Section titled “What it finds”Type to search across your organisation. Results are grouped by kind, each with a count:
| Kind | What it matches |
|---|---|
| Projects | Your projects by name |
| Asset groups | Regions, zones, and sites in the group tree |
| Assets | Individual assets — reservoirs, pumps, meters, pressure points |
| Devices | Sensors by DevEUI or label |
| Dashboards | Shared and personal dashboards |
Selecting a result routes straight to its page and closes the palette.
Narrowing by kind
Section titled “Narrowing by kind”A row of filter chips below the search box (All · Projects · Groups · Assets · Devices · Dashboards) narrows the results to one or more kinds — handy when a name matches several things at once. Filtering is instant; All clears it. The term and filters reset each time the palette closes, so it always reopens clean.
